Q: Is it safe to use?
A: Yes! The LumiPore Pro is specifically designed with controlled electrical currents to ensure it is safe to use at home. We recommend reading the instructions prior to use. If you have open wounds, heart issues, pacemakers, are pregnant, or have facial implants you should not use the LumiPore Pro.
Q: Do I need to avoid the eye area?
A: Whilst the LumiPore Pro is great for reducing those fine lines around the crows feet region, we reccommend avoiding use direct above and below the eye.
Q: Does it hurt?
A: Most users will experience facial contractions whilst using EMS or EP however it is not painful. Some users will experience tingling post treatments - this is nothing to be alarmed about and will generally subside quickly.
Q: How often can I use it?
A: We recommend using the LumiPore Pro 2-3 times a week for approximately 10 minutes per treatment. If using EMS and EP, we recommend alternating these treatments on different days for best results.
Q: Will it get rid of my double chin?
A: Whilst results differ from person to person, studies have shown using facial EMS consistently may results in over an 18% increase in firmness, tone and lift.
Q: I have acne, can I use it?
A: The LumiPore Pro is general safe to use however we reccommend against using the EP function if you have broken, irritated or highly inflamed skin. If you have skin concerns, please consult with your doctore prior to use.
Q: Do I have to used a gel?
A: It is not imperative however we recommend using a water based gel to assist with gliding the LumiPore Pro against your skin. It may also assist with the conductivity of the electrical currents.
Q: Can I use EP along with other skincare treatments?
A: Yes, you can use an EP device alongside other skincare treatments like exfoliating, microdermabrasion, or microneedling, however we recommend spacing them out to avoid over-stimulating the skin.
